Seriously, sometimes we need something to lift our spirit up after it was beaten into the ground by depressing reality, and Nekopara visual novels are great solutions for that. If you don’t mind quite a bit of silly H-scenes, they are really fun, cute, fluffy, silly romp of Minaduki family and theyr 6 catgirls, each possessing some type of anime personality stereotype. But would you ever care? They are so adorable, stunningly animated and voiced! If you liked first Nekopara, this is fitting sequel, with more catgirl and more story for them. Is it better than the first one? Arguably, more girls means more H-scenes, which are still tasteful, classy and both sexy and cute, but Chocola and Vanilla are a bit sidelined for Coconut and Azuki, so if you liked them and wanted more of them, they are not main focus in this part, but Coconut and Azuki are so fun that most of us could get around this issue. And what about third part? Get it, it is worth it.

After playing the first game, I was definitely looking forward to its sequel as I could tell that the main heroines would be different. I very much loved the two main heroines of this VN along with their contradicting personalities and appearances. Seeing as two cat people fall in love with the protagonist despite not being as close to him in the first place felt oddly satisfying. Perhaps it could be that characters who were already close to the protagonist gives me the idea that the romance was bound to happen anyways, while it works the opposite for characters who were rather distant with the protagonist. With all personal thoughts aside, I loved this VN and its character development and would recommend it

NEKOPARA Vol. 2 is definitely a case of a sequel surpassing the original, it takes everything from the first game and just keeps adding to it. This time the story focuses on Coconut and Azuki who like the first pair make for an interesting duo. Azuki is the eldest sister always trying to look out for her younger siblings. While Coconut is the middle sister acting mature and independent, but secretly wanting to be doted on by Azuki. Watching the growth of these two characters throughout the story really is a rewarding experience, like Vol. 1 this is a must buy.

The best one from the current trilogy for me (not counting vol.0). Also the best plot, and yes, I’m serious, plot. For me, Coconut is my favourite from the series because of her personality (her clumsy looking self is just adorable, just have the need to protect her). And there is plenty of her, together with Azuki and Choco/Vani from the previous volume.This is a must-buy for everyone with the catgirl complex (yes, myself included).

Got this through Steam, loved it, and had to come here and support the developers by getting the 18+ patch. Part 2 got me thinking: If catgirls mature quicker than humans do they also have a similar life expectancy to cats? AM I RAISING AND ****ING SOMETHING THAT WILL GROW OLD AND DIE IN 5-10 YEARS?

Even though I really enjoyed Vol 1, Vol 2 definitely surpassed it. The story/development for the girls was more engaging and I liked the main catgirls more in this one than the previous volume. Also the plot was really enjoyable. I have some really high hopes now for Vol 3.

I gotta say ever since i finished the first game of the series I loved it! This is a continuation of the first one but with different heroines and i must admit this is my favorite of the series better than the first in my opinion, though i say that now but i still need to finish the 3rd installment of the series. A worthy successor to Nekopara Vol.1 by all standarts. The animations have improved and the focus on the next 2 nekos of the family is welcome. As twith the fist installment, the story is servicable and sweet, although it misses the emotionall beats of the first one. My only negative has to be the added soundlayer in all scenes with sensual contact, even simple kissing: the exxagerated smacking and slurping is downright cringy and the only reason keeping it from a 5 / 5. Outside of that a great addition to any collection, well worth the time and money.
