Changes to Denpasoft Access
Starting July 31, 2025, Denpasoft will be restricting access to the site for users in a number of US states and certain countries. As this is a sudden situation that has been brought to our attention, more details will be available as soon we have them. A full list is available in this news post.
We were informed earlier today that our payment processing account is being audited due to a number of unfounded points as well as our lack of compliance with age verification laws in a number of US states. It was hoped that after we had to remove titles from Denpasoft that this would be the end of such issues but clearly that was a naïve thought. It is for those reason that starting July 31, 2025, users from the following states will be unable to directly access the Denpasoft website:
- Alabama
- Arkansas
- Florida
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Indiana
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Mississppi
- Montana
- Nebraska
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- Tennessee
- Texas
- Utah
- Virginia
- Wyoming
Also, due to laws passed in other countries users from the following countries will be unable to directly access the Denpasoft website starting July 31st, 2025:
- United Kingdom
According to the Free Speech Coalition Action Center, the following states have also passed age verification laws that have not gone in to effect but will be added to the list on the effective date:
- Arizona (September 26, 2025)
- Ohio (September 29, 2025)
- Missouri (Expected: August 30, 2025)
- North Dakota (August 1, 2025)
For users outside of the above states or residing in other countries, there is no change to our existing access policies.
What about access to existing digital purchases?
As we are still in the midst of an audit right now, we cannot comment or make suggestions on how an effected user may access their digital purchases at this time. Nothing in these laws state that we have to remove accounts as well so your downloads are safe.
What if I have a pending physical order or preorder?
In order to avoid any further issues, any outstanding orders will be shipped out before the end of July. For any preorders that are not fulfilled by that deadline, we will be forced to cancel and refund them.
There’s not much else we can say at this point. We sincerely apologize to all users affected by these changes to the law. Should there be any changes in the immediate future, we will let everyone know right away.
