STORY
One day without warning, a young cook working behind the scenes at an Akihabara maid cafe suddenly gets spirited away to another world! The new world he finds himself in is one of fantasy, where magic exists and monsters run wild.
Without a way to return to his own world and at a total loss, a monster appears out of nowhere and is about to attack him when, at the last moment, Lupine, the owner of the tavern “Stray Sheep” appears and saves his life.
Brought to “The Stray Sheep” by his lifesaver Lupine, he finds nothing but a sad empty tavern with not even a single customer.
With nowhere to go, the main character decides to aid Lupine in reviving The Stray Sheep, knowing that if enough adventurers come by, one of them may know a way for him to return home.
Utilizing the cooking skills he cultivated during his time in the maid cafe, can he be the one to save the tavern from its precarious management situation?!

This is enjoyable and doesn’t take very long. I like the characters in this novel, with Daisy being my favorite. If they put in a little bit of animation in the H scenes I would’ve given this five stars. I don’t see why they could make the avatars expressive and animated but the actual scenes don’t even try to mimic animation. Despite this criticism, this is a very enjoyable VN and I like coming back to it. I’ll definitely buy the next release.

Con:
– technical issues (not sure if on my system only, but I don’t see why)
– first split second of audio sometimes repeated
– rendering glitches on animated characters (e.g. sparkling lines)
– very short, a whole playthrough takes a few hours at most
If the story sounds good to you, get this when it’s discounted, but not for full price.
I might buy the sequels, but only if discounted.

It’s a typical Qureate game, in that it’s shortish but has solid characters and story telling. The fact they broke this into 3 parts is new, but it doesn’t change the quality of each iteration. The 2nd volume has different characters it focuses on so if you’re looking for a particular girl that may change your mind.
